For those who spend countless hours repainting the exterior of their home or place of business, good news comes from the CHICAGO PAINT & COATINGS ASSOCATION. The search begins Memorial Day for the "Chicago's Finest Painted Ladies." If you beautify your home or business this summer with a new coat of paint, your work will not go unnoticed. A commemorative plaque and special ceremony is planned to honor the winners of our competition. The Chicago area will be divided into sectors: North, Northwest, West, Southwest, South and Northwest Indiana. These are two categories: "non-professionally painted & professionally painted". Size or building style is not a factor in the judges decision. |
Single family, multi-family, commercial, Victorians and other styles may be entered. The only measurement will be the craftsmanship and the creative beauty of the paint. Contest ends on Labor Day. "Chicago's Finest Painted Ladies" will be judged by a panel of experts. To assist our judges we ask that you provide before and after color photographs on high quality paper and paint swatches accompany the application. Winners will be notified by mail.
