The CPCA Expresses Its Deepest Sympathy to the Whiting FamilyJames F. Whiting 1933-2010James F. Whiting was born October 22, 1933 in Onset, Massachussetts to Paul Edward and Gertrude (nee O'Donnell) Whiting. He died on Tuesday March 2, 2010 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights. James was the owner and President of the G.R. O'Shea Company since 1982, and the Past President of the Chicago Paint and Coatings Association. He enjoyed golfing and boating, and was a member of Horseshoe Bay Golf Club and a former member of the Itasca Country Club. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ann (nee Baldwin) whom he married on September 12, 1959 in Akron, Ohio; his children, Tom (Cara) Whiting of Wheaton, David (Juniper) Whiting of Iowa City, Iowa, and Elizabeth (Nate) Troia of Wheaton; his grandchildren, Luci, Gillian, Charlotte, Kyla, Quinn, Violet, Isabel, Emily, and Ava; and his brother, Paul Edward Jr. (June) Whiting of Norwood, Massachussetts. James is preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, March 5, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights - (847) 253-0168. Funeral service and interment is private. G. R.
